This month will feature Ginger Peer Platsis, LMT, owner of Heart Felt Touch Massage Therapy, LLC., who will lead a hands-on discussion on THE POWER OF TOUCH.
The event is free and open to the community and will take place at the Assisted Living apartment building on the Sanders Retirement Community campus on Walker Avenue just off of Main Street.

The Power of Touch presentation will cover the importance of touch at every stage of life, the need for touch and hands-on instruction of how to touch safely.
The intention of the class is to teach caregivers, volunteers and health care workers who work with people who are unable to leave the house due to illness, physical limitations, anxieties, depression or grief.
Ginger Peer Platsis is certified in compassionate touch (skilled touch and compassionate presence for those in later life stages), hospice, hospital, oncology and trauma care. She’s been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2003 and loves teaching others to touch safely and compassionately.
