Jackie Merritt has taught drawing, painting and design at Thomas Nelson Community College in Hampton, Virginia since 2007. She received her Master of Arts in Painting from the University of Wisconsin, Madison in 1070 and Bachelor of Fine Arts in Education from Norfolk State University in 1968.
