2019 Peninsula Master Gardener Training Course – Class Registration Open

An event every day that begins at 8:00 am, repeating until August 1, 2019
BECOME A MASTER GARDENER in Hampton, Newport News, Gloucester, and York/Poquoson
MASTER GARDENERS are volunteers who assist their local Cooperative Extension Offices in educating the public in general gardening practices as well as the proper use of pesticides and fertilizers. To become a Master Gardener, an individual must complete 50 hours of horticulture instruction and return an equal number of hours (50) as a Master Gardener volunteer.

Course Fee: $160.
(Course fee for two students in the same household sharing book is $260.) Notice: Returned Check Fee is $50.
Fees associated with this course will cover handbook, other materials, and background check*.
NOTE: Course workload (both versions) is equivalent to 50-60 hours + preparation time.
