A Red, Red Rose: Choral Concert

May 16 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

Donation to Cantori

Join Cantori Choral Ensemble, an auditioned 16-voice choral group from Williamsburg, for a concert celebrating the rose, the symbol of love.
Cantori will sing poetry by Christina Rossetti, Thomas Moore, Robert Burns, Lord Byron, and Ranier Rilke in original musical settings and folk song arrangements by Ola Gjeilo, Morten Lauridsen, Eriks Esenvalds, Paul Mealor, and Randall Stroope. Cantori is renowned for its exceptional a cappella singing, its tight blend and balance, and its sensitive musicianship. Under the direction of Agnes French, the ensemble includes several singers who are also professional musicians. It will be an enjoyable concert to remember!
