Daffodil Festival Public Archaeology

April 7 @ 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Free

Help the Fairfield Foundation kick off its 2019 public dig season! Once again, we will be holding public excavations during the 2019 Gloucester Daffodil Festival.

Exact excavation location is the Tucker Store lot across from the Court Circle on Gloucester Main Street. Stop by with your friends and family to learn more about archaeology in the county, the history and archaeology of the Court Circle, or help us screen for artifacts!

All ages and skill sets are welcome!

Saturday, April 6, 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Sunday, April 7, 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Please Note: Main Street will be closed to all traffic prior to the start of the parade at 9 AM on Saturday. Surrounding shopping centers and street parking is available for public parking, but is extremely limited. Use of the shuttle is highly encouraged. For more info on parking, visit: http://daffodilfestivalva.org/parking/.
