Show Statement
“This show represents a collection of art which highlights some of the differences in style and perspective between
“representational works” (realism), what I term “transitional works” (works that contain aspects of realism but moving in the direction of abstraction with ethereal and atmospheric elements), and finally ”non-representational works” (abstract art) .
I have found that painting in different genres is not only challenging but further enhances my creative drive. We have all experienced the frustration and changes in our lives that this Corona Virus has wrought and it is my hope to bring some normalcy and joy to others through my work.”
