Pastels with Emily Christoff Flowers at Arts on Main
October 7 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm$25.00
Students will apply gesso and tinted pastel ground on foam board to create a textural painterly base. Once the base is dry, students will use rubbing alcohol and pastel to create a base color. The drawing will be done on top of this textured surface to create a finished drawing with a loose painterly texture. Students will use their own photo or the instructor can send her photo and students can draw along with instructor to complete the example. Students will also learn about value and light in addition to the session focus.
